From CAD to CGI: High-End Razor Renders Without Photography
For the Rayz Flip Razors project, I created photorealistic 3D product rendering services tailored for e-commerce and digital marketing. Traditional product photography struggled with the chrome razor finish, requiring heavy Photoshop retouching. Instead, we used CAD models and advanced CGI rendering tools to produce consistent silo imagery, 360 product photos, and close-up shots on a clean white background. Two softbox lighting setups were used to shape the razor’s reflective surfaces while keeping details sharp and professional. In addition to still renders for the product page, we developed 3D product animations, spinning turntables, and 4:3 hero motion graphics for banners, emails, and web campaigns. The result: flexible e-commerce product photography alternatives that show every detail of the Rayz Flip Razors line—without the limitations of traditional photoshoots.

Photoreal CGI for a Vibrant Jewelry Brand
The Challenge
Fox & Wolf Jewelry needed a way to showcase their intricate silver rings and earrings with the sophistication of a studio photoshoot — without the cost, logistics, or limitations of traditional photography. Their brand aesthetic leans into bold, pastel color palettes, and every piece carries a sculptural, hand-crafted feel. The challenge was to deliver visuals that could capture this artistic identity while keeping production flexible and scalable.
The Approach
Joyride translated raw CAD models into polished, market-ready imagery. Each piece underwent careful cleanup and refinement, ensuring sculptural details were crisp and true to the original design.

Material Development: Realistic silver shaders were built in Cinema 4D + Redshift, balancing natural metal imperfections with high-end polish.

Lighting & Composition: A soft, studio-inspired light setup mimicked the control of product photography while enhancing the jewelry’s form and texture.

Color Story: Backgrounds were rendered in pastel hues aligned with Fox & Wolf’s brand, creating a consistent and recognizable visual identity.
The Execution
The rendering pipeline combined Cinema 4D, Redshift, and post-production in Photoshop. With Joyride’s 72-hour delivery model, each asset was turned around quickly without sacrificing detail. By simulating a professional photoshoot in 3D, multiple compositions and variations were generated without reshoots or physical samples.
